THE PORTRAIT OF THE COMPANY

Main object of Remak SA activity are repairs and modernization services of steam and water boilers as well as the assembly of power engineering equipment, fumes desulphurization installations, electrofilters, industrial installations and pipelines. Besides, the company performs specialist welding and radiography works and prepares the technologies for repair works.

 

Currently the Company employs over 900 people. Our staff consists of the employees having profound knowledge gained on many construction sites in Poland and abroad. The designers and technologists of REMAK S.A are the authors of multiple original solutions and repair technologies.

 

An important group of our employees are highly qualified welders. Currently the company employs over 200 welders possessing qualifications concordant with the standard PN-EN 287-1:2004. The employed welders are the engineers possessing EWE and IWE certificates and valid certificates of competence according to the standard PN-EN 45013 granted by ANB – authorized Polish organization of the European Welding Federation EWF seated at the Institute of Welding in Gliwice. The Company possesses a Welders Training Centre and Quality Control Laboratory approved by the Office of Technical Inspection.

 

Implementing large investment and modernization projects, the Company often cooperates with the largest enterprises in power engineering industry acting as a significant subcontractor or a General Contractor.

 

Thanks to that we are prepared for the implementation of many specialist works such as manufacture, assembly and repairs of water and steam boilers, pressure and non-pressure vessels as well as steam pipelines. We can also boast of possessing the Certificate for performing and repair of pressure equipment according to the AD HP0 instructions.

 

In addition, we provide all services related to repairs, modernizations and assembly of power engineering facilities such as water and steam boilers, pressure and non-pressure vessels, steam pipelines and repairs of pressure vessels.

 

We possess modern MRPII/ERP class IT infrastructure to support management. CAD/CAM systems are used in a wide scope in our company.  We also use modern technology ensuring safe communication in wide area networks.

 

The controlling system implemented for the needs of the Company constituting an element of effective control through constant carrying out of comparative analyses of costs, budgeting and cost accounting systems, monthly analysis of the plan and its execution allows to diagnose and undertake fast corrective activities with simultaneous delegating of rights and responsibilities to lower levels of management.

 

We have obtained numerous certificates guaranteeing that our services are reliable and confirming our competences. We possess e.g. Quality System Certificate granted by Bureau Veritas Quality International according to the standard PN-EN ISO 9001:2000.
